Story: Making the “unsexy” elements of training and equipment testing sexy through the openness, humor, and story-sharing of a Specialized cycling team was made possible by being invited to the training facility and living with the athletes for a few days. We went riding with them (in a van, of course), ate with them at the in-house canteen (special menus for peak training performance), and spent hours learning about their relationships and dynamics with their teammates.

No celebrity ryders, no fanfare, no handholding. Just merging seamlessly with their schedule and process to find cinematic nuggets that get to the heart of what really makes champions. Along with cutting-edge bicycles, of course…
